چکیده

In present study, using Least Squares (LS) method, we determine the position smoothing in GPS single-frequency receiver by means of pseudo-range and carrier phase measurements. The application of pseudo-range or carrier phase measurements in GPS receiver positioning separately can lead to defects. By means of pseudo-range data, we have position with less precision and more distortion. By use of carrier phase data, we do not have absolute position and just dislocation is available, but the accuracy is high. In present research, we have combined pseudo-range and carrier phase data using LS method in order to determine GPS receiver's position smoothing. The results of comparison by LS method show less RMS error, less calculation volume and more smoother in using carrier phasepseudo-range data together relative to pseudo-range data in isolation. Simulations on data in 3000 meter/second velocities have emphasized that proposed method can improve the accuracy of positioning more than 45%.

Application of Network RTK Positions and Geometric Constraints to the Problem of Attitude Determination Using the GPS Carrier Phase Measurements

Nowadays, navigation is an unavoidable fact in military and civil aerial transportations. The Global Positioning System (GPS) is commonly used for computing the orientation or attitude of a moving platform. The relative positions of the GPS antennas are computed using the GPS code and/or phase measurements. To achieve a precise attitude determination, Carrier phase observations of GPS requiring...

Iranian Permanent GPS Network Receivers Differential Code Biases Estimation Using Global Ionospheric Maps

Measurements of the dual frequency Global Positioning System (GPS) receivers can be used to calculate the electron density and the total electron content (TEC) of the ionosphere layer of the Earth atmosphere. TEC is a key parameter for investigating the ongoing spatial and temporal physical process of the ionosphere. For accurate estimation of TEC from GPS measurements, GPS satellites and GPS r...

An Algorithm for Combined Code and Carrier Phase Based Gps Positioning∗

The Global Positioning System (GPS) is a satellite based navigation system. GPS satellites transmit signals that allow one to quite accurately estimate the location of GPS receivers. In GPS a typical technique for kinematic position estimation is relative positioning where two receivers are used, one receiver is stationary and its exact position is known, the other is roving and its position is...

Spoofing Mitigation of GPS Receiver using Least Mean Squares-Based Adaptive Filter

The Global Positioning System (GPS) signals are very weak signal over wireless channels, so they are vulnerable to in-band interferences. Therefore, even a low-power interference can easily spoof GPS receivers. Among the variety of GPS signal interference, spoofing is considered as the most dangerous intentional interference. The spoofing effects can mitigate with an appropriate strategy in the...
